
Este conductor íntegramente de aluminio es un producto fabricado mediante el trenzado de cables de aluminio. Se utiliza en líneas de distribución eléctrica con tramos cortos y baja capacidad de carga del poste. La norma AAC proporciona un rendimiento confiable para líneas aéreas de transmisión y distribución de energía. Esta norma abarca los cables circulares de aluminio trefilado para uso eléctrico, que se utilizan como componentes de cables trenzados de aluminio trefilado y conductores de aluminio reforzados con acero.
El AAC es un conductor trenzado concéntrico que consta de cables de aleación de aluminio 1350-H19 disponibles en construcciones de una sola capa y de múltiples capas.
